Project Site Architect
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Site Architect
- Willing to work in Davao until project completion (approximately 8 months to 1 year subject for extension and/or otherwise pre-terminated by the client)
Duties and Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective communication with project stakeholders, including owners and other relevant contacts, to facilitate project activities.
- Collaborate with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize, and direct construction activities related to projects.
- Lead and/or assist with estimating potential projects, including developing project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of company policy and contract specifications.
- Confer with supervisors and foremen to discuss work procedures, address complaints, and resolve construction problems.
- Monitor and control project progress through administrative direction of onsite foremen, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Investigate potentially serious situations, implement corrective measures, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Represent the company in project meetings, attend strategy meetings, and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the contract administrator to manage financial aspects of contracts, protecting the company’s interests while maintaining positive client relationships.
- Procure supplies and materials necessary to complete projects.
- Interpret and explain project plans, contract terms, and technical specifications to administrative staff, workers, and clients.
- Update job reports, including work progress, costs, and scheduling updates, and collaborate with field operations to assign workers to construction sites.
- Proactively develop and maintain relationships with the subcontractor community.
- Develop project schedules, plan manpower resources, and coordinate preliminary architectural studies for major new structures, alterations to existing structures, and site development.
- Ensure resource availability and allocation, develop detailed project plans, and monitor progress.
- Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using verification techniques, track project performance, and analyze the successful completion of short- and long-term goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including spreadsheets, diagrams, and process maps.
- Consider sustainability in project design and conduct construction inspections to review the integrity of structures and recommend corrective actions.
MEPF Engineer
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a MEPF Engineer
- Willing to work in Davao until project completion (approximately 8 months to 1 year subject for extension and/or otherwise pre-terminated by the client)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in designing and developing electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection systems for various building types, ensuring compliance with building codes, regulations, and client specifications.
- Assist in preparing detailed drawings, schematics, and technical specifications for MEPF systems, including layouts, equipment sizing, and material selection.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants to ensure seamless integration of MEPF systems within the overall building design.
- Estimate project costs, develop detailed project schedules, and manage the budget and timeline for MEPF work.
- Assist in performing detailed calculations for electrical loads, HVAC, plumbing requirements, and fire protection system design.
- Evaluate and select appropriate MEPF equipment, considering efficiency, performance, and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrate sustainable and energy-efficient technologies into MEPF designs, promoting green building practices.
- Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEPF systems, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Provide technical guidance and supervision to contractors during the construction phase, ensuring compliance with design specifications and quality standards.
- Regularly inspect MEPF installation work to verify adherence to drawings and specifications, addressing any discrepancies or potential issues.
- Offer technical expertise and support to contractors, resolving any technical challenges or questions that may arise during construction.
- Manage and coordinate the work of various subcontractors involved in MEPF installation, ensuring seamless integration and timely completion.
- Communicate technical details of MEPF designs to clients, explaining system functionality and addressing any questions or concerns.
- Ensure clear communication with clients throughout the project, keeping them informed of project progress, potential challenges, and any necessary adjustments.
- Responsively address client feedback and incorporate any changes or modifications to the design as needed.
